- ➤ Country music star Lainey Wilson will headline the 2026 Illinois State Fair Grandstand in Springfield as announced by the Illinois Department of Agriculture—tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Nov. 8, and the fair runs from Aug. 13—23 with prices ranging from $88 to $168 plus a $30 Pre-Show Party ticket. - ➤ A bill that would let doctors prescribe aid-in-dying medication for terminally ill patients passed both chambers and is now on Gov.
