- ➤ Springfield police said a woman died around 3:30 a.m. Saturday after a shooting on the 1900 block of Holly Drive—she was taken to HSHS St. John’s Hospital and authorities are asking anyone with information to call police. WYMG
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ An EPA Regional Administrator for Region V visited the Pillsbury Mills plant to assess cleanup progress on a silver paint coating containing 5% asbestos on the silos and headhouse — grant funds of over $3M have supported this work. The silo cleanup is expected to finish in a few weeks — which will allow demolition and recycling of about 70,000 tons of concrete. ABC 20
