- ➤ The Pritzker administration has launched Illinois’ Childhood Adversity Index to track risk factors such as juvenile delinquency and child abuse among students. State agencies and policymakers will use the tool—covering community impact, unmet needs, and economic challenges—to better support children facing trauma. WCIA
- ➤ The Illinois Treasurer’s Office returned almost $309 million to 312,000 people, businesses and groups last fiscal year through the I-CASH program—beating the previous record of $301 million. Treasurer Michael Frerichs said the office also helped bring money from safe deposit boxes, unpaid life insurance benefits and forgotten bank accounts—prompting more people to check their funds online.
