- ➤ A pedestrian bridge on Clearlake near Martin Luther King, Junior Drive was renamed the Sonya Massey Memorial Bridge after a Sunday dedication honoring Massey, who was shot a year ago while deputies responded to a call at her home. Local residents helped choose the site, which now features murals by local artists and will host a healing circle at the Thrive Center for Wellness later today— a tribute to her memory. - ➤ Community members gathered Sunday at the pedestrian bridge on Clearlake near Martin Luther King, Junior Drive to rename it the Sonya Massey Memorial Bridge in honor of Sonya Massey, who was fatally shot a year ago.
