On Monday at 3:20 p.m., a driver crashed an SUV through the YNOT Outdoor Kids Camp building in Chatham — killing four children and injuring six others while Illinois State Police investigated the incident and took the driver for evaluation.

After six months on the commission, Sontae Massey (cousin of Sonya Massey, fatally shot in her Springfield home on July 6) was named assistant managing director.

Kelly Hurst was appointed managing director and Adam White became the public engagement coordinator as the commission continues to review conditions around the shooting.
