- ➤ The Sangamon County Board tabled the vote on the proposed $500 million CyrusOne data center in Talkington Township after a three-hour meeting at the Bank of Springfield Center Monday night; the board will revisit the project on April 7 amid local talks about economic benefits & community concerns. - ➤ The state Supreme Court ruled unanimously that Illinois law does not shield companies from paying for required pre- and post-work activities, a decision that may force employers to compensate employees for extra time.
