- ➤ Kitty, an 8-year-old medium-haired house panther at SCAC since March 8, is ready for adoption today after being spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and cleared for FIV and FeLV — the center is offering all cats for $25 this month. Capitol City Now
- ➤ Charlie is a one-year-old dog who has been living in a kennel at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center since November 19th — he loves to play ball and take long walks and is waiting for a new family. WYMG

- ➤ Families in Springfield can buy tickets now for the Blippi: Join the Band Tour, which will take place on April 15 at the UIS Performing Arts Center—featuring live music, dance, and interactive fun with Blippi, Meekah, and a group of professional performers. - ➤ UIS students now have free Kaplan test prep access for exams and certification courses through the Prepare for Illinois’ Future program — a statewide effort run in partnership with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission to boost career pathways in fields like nursing, teaching, and cybersecurity.
